Other than the PAL-V, another flying vehicle is on the way to production. But its release date is still unknown. As what I’ve said before, such a futuristic vehicle will always let us know that its release date will be at least few years from now.
The company, Moller International has started the production of its flying vehicle, M200G and will be making it ready for the open market. Its price is definitely not cheap. Depends on the engine size, which will cost $90,000-$125,000.
It’s claimed that the M200G can hover 10 feet off the ground and cruises at the speed of 50 mph. Its height and speed limitation are definitely too far lower than the PAL-V’s. As M200G is only a recreation device and not an aircraft, so anybody can operate it and not subject to FAA regulations. It’s a saucer-shaped device. When this thing becomes popular, I hope your granny won’t be shouting out for “UFO”, while you’re flying past her window.

Moller promises things constantly but has yet to deliver a single product to anyone. Maybe we should stop giving them endless free press until they actually ship something out the door. We’re still waiting for products they started advertising in the 90’s and its been well over the decade they said way back then. Its become nothing but a running joke on sites like digg.com that Moller is the king of vaporware.
