Hacker cracked iPhone to bypass AT&T activation

iPhone hacked! The hacker, who is popularly known as DVD Jon, has cracked the iPhone to bypass the AT&T activation for using the WiFi and other capabilities on iPhone. Normally, the American iPhone users are bound to 2 year-contract with AT&T in order to be able to use any of the iPhone non-mobile features, such as the iTunes player or the Safari web browser. DVD Jon has got his little iPhone racking utllity, which is still in version 1.0, posted on his blog and several have tested and posted comments claiming that it works! Anyway, the hack is meant for technical user as you need to make use of hex editor to edit code manually in order to activate it. Anyway, the iPhone Dev Wiki also got several alternative hacking methods for the activation of the iPhone.
