
Here is a DIY project that makes use of two identical circuit boards, back-to-back, which each has an alternative layer of LEDs mounted on it. And these two boards are set up on a little fan. When the fan is turned on and spins, it’ll present you a 3D model of a bonsai tree.

It’s the project of Mike, which he detailed on his blog about the process – how he started his concept, doing everything from scratch such as etching the circuit board, then send for getting the PCB done and also some soldering of the LEDs on it.
