I think most of you have the same feeling, whenever you remove some dying batteries from your gadgets, you tend to chuck it in your drawer or still keep it somewhere else. As in your mind, you’ll probably be thinking that those batteries still have little juice to be used on some other less-consuming gadgets. And it is a waste to simply trash them like that. But I know you’ll keep it in your drawer for several months, even years, untill you do the next clean-up, then you’ll trash them, if they happened to be found in those drawers. So, there is no point to keep all these dying batteries, which will add up more chemical waste in your house.
If you don’t feel like wasting the little juice contained in those dying batteries. Here is the Magnetic Battery Eater, which you can send all the dying AA cells to let it chomp down every single bit of juice on it. So, you won’t feel like it’s a waste to trash any of them. This battery eater is made from an exposed circuit board with bent wire as its hair. When your dying AA cell is in its mouth, its LED eyeballs will blink until every single bit of juice is gone. Its little noise is a capacitor, which I think it’ll store up some charge to keep its eyes to blink a little bit longer even the juice in the cell completely dries up. This circuit is the design of the designer, David Dear. Cute?
