The Chinese companies are so smart and good at producing clones for those branded gadgets. We’ve seen the Meizu before, which was considered the clone for the iPhone. Now, the Nokia N95 also gets a clone, which is known as the E-PDA V16. As shown in the picture, this Chinese clone has a body that is much longer than the Nokia N95, but it’s not a slider. Obviously, its keypad is located at bottom of the screen, where there are some strange buttons on the sides for navigation. It is actually a touch-screen candybar. Its display is a magnificent 3″ QVGA TFT.
Turn to the back, they look more alike, but the clone seems to carry two speakers, which is the uniqueness shown by Chinese cell phone that gives high volume of ring tone. Its built-in camera is definitely much less powerful than the N95′s, which features only a 3 megapixels, fixed focus and no Carl Zeiss.
It works with stylus, can recognize both Chinese and English handwriting. This cell phone takes three cards, which are two sim cards and one microSD memory card, which means you can have 2 phone numbers on one phone. This is what the N95 can’t provide. Other than this, the clone also carries a high-capacity 1800 mAh battery, which the N95 doesn’t have either. Well, the clone would only cost you less than half of the price of the original N95. So, you want the clone or the original?

I am leaving for japan next month. We know that they use a diff network there like the umts2100. I am not particularly sure though. Ahm, i jsut wonder can I bu these one of clone phones. I will just use it as my second fone. We have one here in bulacan, for 3,500 pesos 5300 . do you think I will not encounter any problem? I don’t want to buy a very expensive one.
