Robots are not only helpful for our daily tasks, they’re pretty helpful as well at the battlefield. A 6 foot tall robot, called Bear is used at the battlefield to bring back those injured soldiers. In such a case, you wouldn’t have to risk the life of another soldier to go out there at the hot zone, just for the purpose of bringing back an injured soldier. The Bear Battlefield robot is having strong, hydraulic arms, which they can easily carry an injured soldier and bring them back home for treatment.

If you have seen Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down, imagine that kind of battlefield where speed is the key. It’s bullet and explosion everywhere! By the time the robot arrive to base, the injured soldier is already full of bullets or without arms, head or leg. Not sure if dragging instead of carrying is an option. The only real military solution for robot I’ve seen is the one in the bomb squad operation. But still, this Bear could be a possibility.
