That was what the Toshiba guy did this morning simply to impress the press on how durable and how much stress that their new notebook, dynabook SS RX1, could tolerate. This new Toshiba notebook has a 19.5mm thin sexy magnesium body, which had gone through various stress tests at the factory. As shown in the picture, at the press conference, the Toshiba was so proud of this new notebook. The first two pictures on top simply show that the guy dropped the notebook from a height of 70cm. Then he picked it up and showed that it was still in good shape and working. If that isn’t enough, then the two at the bottom show that he poured some coffee on its keyboard and all the keys were still fully functioning afterwards. Some video links are here and here.
