I’ve been a Fujitsu laptop user. What I like about Fujitsu notebook range is simply its lightweight, compact, and of course its stylish and innovative design. Fujitsu’s new concept “Fab PC” for its future notebooks is what I have to take note here.
The “Fab PC”, as its name implies, it will be notebooks constructed by using fabric instead of plastic. The use of fabric gives it the flexibility for incorporating the innovative feature – the e-paper display. For those conventional notebooks that we’re used to, the displays are mounted via hinge to the main system unit/keyboard. But the new e-paper display of the “Fab PC”, which is so unique that it can slide down into the base unit of the device and be folded across the top of the keyboard. Anyway, this is currently still at the very early stage, which is only a design concept. No surprise that such a stylish notebook will most likely carry a price more than $2,000.00.
