Eco Kettle, most efficient kettle, boils only what you need!As we all know, even though you just need to make a cup of coffee for yourself, you’ll also need to boil a full kettle of water. This is a norm, your ordinary kettle will definitely produce much less than a cup of water even though you need only a cup, as most of them will be converted into steam.

Due to the inefficiency of your ordinary kettle, it takes more energy, more water and more time to produce the hot water that you really need. It normally needs at least twice the amount of water, which also consumes twice the amount of energy, to produce the actual amount that you need.

Here is a smart kettle, the Eco Kettle, which is really worth our attention here. It gives you the kind of efficiency, which it takes only the amount of water and consumes the amount of energy to produce the exact amount of hot water that you really need.

For example, if you just need a cup of hot water for making a cup of coffee, then you can just add one cup of water to the Eco Kettle, and it’ll produce exactly the same amount of one cup of hot water for your coffee.

Of course, this really saves very much of your time and your electricity bills. As it consumes only the exact amount of energy needed for your one cup and the best is it takes only thirty-five seconds to boil a cup of water. If you’re the rich one, you’ll probably won’t care much about the time and the money.

But according to DEFRA: “If everyone boiled only the water they needed to make a cup of tea instead of filling the kettle every time, we could save enough electricity to run practically all the street lighting in the U.K.”. So, why not contribute little here to help save some energy to provide more street lighting for the poor? Anyway, lets look at how this smart kettle works. It’s got two chambers. To use it, just fill the kettle to the top like with any normal kettle, and then select the number of cups you want to make (1-8). The specified amount of water is then released into a separate chamber and boiled.

  1. Hot water in three seconds, brought to you by the Tefal Quick Cup- by Gadget, shop online blog of TechChee.com Says:

[...] I really appreciate that the appliance manufacturers have been putting so much effort to produce the energy-efficient appliance for us. Here is another kettle which really helps those impatient very much as it takes only three seconds to give a cup of hot water. Whenever my stomach is crying for food, I’ll be thinking of getting a cup of hot beverage or cup noodle just to fill up my stomach temporarily. But it’ll end up with big disappointment, if there is no hot water left in the kettle and it needs another 10-15 minutes wait for boiling the water. The Tefal Quick Cup is also an energy-efficient kettle, which boils exactly the amount of water that you need. You just need to fill up its reservoir with cold-tap water. Anytime that you need hot water for a cup of coffee, then just a press of its red button, and start counting one, two and three.. the water will then be automatically dispensed into your cup. It also doubles as a filter for the cold water. If you need only cold water, just a press of its black button, then you’ll get the clean and filtered cold water. It consumes 65% less energy compared to those ordinary kettles, as there is only little or no waste of energy. For the benefit, of course, better for the environment and also saves your energy bills pretty much. This kettle will be released in early July (in Europe at least) and will retail for about $120. The price is definitely much more expensive than any ordinary kettle. Well, but it’s worth for long run and also especially handy for the impatient ones. [...]

Hmm, so please tell me why this kettle is more efficient than other kettles? No? Well, let’s be honest, you can’t tell us why, except for the fact that it boils exactly what you need.
Well folks, News just in – there is a simple answer to this and that is not to fill your ‘ordinary’ kettle beyond what you need it for in the first place! The element will still use the same units of electricity than the eco!
If you want to be an ultra-saver stick the remaining water in a thermos – Guaranteed MORE efficient than the Eco!
Waste of time and not only that but all the extra plastic hardly makes this thing Eco-friendly does it!
