Everybody is probably pretty excited to know the new cell phone line-up of Motorola, the RAZR 2. At least to know the difference between the original RAZR and the RAZR 2. Thanks to MobileBurn, which they’ve just had a hands-on review about the prototype of a Motorola RAZR 2 V8. The obvious differences between the first generation and second generation V8 are the massive external display and the lack of an antenna bulge, or chin, on the newer V8.
And it feels prety solid in your hands, good looking and having most of the styles and flashes of the first generation. There is also some variation with the semi-touch screen, which the new one gives some kind of vibration feedback while pressed on any of the touch keys.
The reviewer seems to like the vibration feedback of the buttons pretty much as they claimed that it gives the kind of “real” response to their fingers while pressing on those buttons. The vibration feedback also used on volume and smart key controls on the left edge of the phone, as well as with the camera shutter button that is located on the right edge.
Although there is vibration feedback, but it looks like the phone’s buttons offer poor tactile feedback. Hopefully, this is only an issue with the prototype. Another change is the new RAZR2 line uses the newly defined micro-USB connector for charging, wired headsets, and USB connectivity.
