Here is a pretty smart pill cap that can remind you and even your remote loved ones to take pills on time. We’ve been pretty forgetful and I’m not too sure why there is always a tendency to forget the time of taking pills.
Although I don’t have to depend on pills in my life, but occasionally, will fall sick and need to take pills. And during those sick days, there is pretty high chance to forget taking pills on time.
For those depend on pills, such as suffering from high blood pressure, taking pills on time is important. The smart pill cap is called GlowCap, a product of Vitality, which has some kind of intelligence built-in that it can fit onto any standard prescription bottles. Its intelligences include alerting users that it’s time to take pills by giving an orange glow, emailing or making calls to the cell phone of the user or remote caregiver, and able to generate and email you a monthly progress report. Other than this, it knows to remind you that your pills in the bottle are going to finish soon. While having multiple pill caps, they can talk wirelessly to the the NightLite adapters that can translate the glow to your AC outlet. Such a smart pill cap, it could be pretty expensive.
