Thanks to the British scientists, they’ve done a great job, what they developed is to use a vaccine to control high blood pressure. High blood pressure causes about 60,000 deaths a year in UK. High blood pressure is one of the major killers in UK, which is double of those dying from heart disease and stroke. The vaccine is a course that would need only three jabs, followed by a booster every six months. The vaccine is to make use of limpets protein to attack a hormone called angiotensin, which is produced by the liver. Angiotensin is the hormone that will cause the rise of blood pressure as it narrows the arteries. The vaccine will turn the body’s immune system to fight against the hormone. This vaccine has been tested on several people successfully but with few side-effects – about a ten complained of flu-like illness.
