
According to TechCrunch, the info that they’ve gathered from another blog that Google seems to be testing a new layout of their web search result. The search result as shown in the screen attached above, looks nothing too far from the current one, which adds only a left navigation bar that contains the shortcut hyperlinks to other Google apps (such as Images, News, Products etc) for searching of the same searched phrase. Anyway, this looks familiar to me, which I did encounter once before that Google showed similar to the above screenshot. But I can’t recall when and where that I came across it. Anyway, it could be my own confusion with the Google blogsearch, which also shows a sidebar on the left side for sorting of the blog post published date. Anyway, TechCrunch also mentioned that there were similar encounters by some other guys of such a search layout, so there is no big deal here. It looks like Google is pretty shy to show off their new layout.
