
As shown in the picture, the two USB flash drives are claimed to be able to scan your PC or laptop for viruses. This is the concept to make your anti-virus portable, so you can bring along with you and scan on any PC that you stop by. This is the product of by the Korean company, DigiWorks, which it’s called USB Virus Chaser, sounds pretty cool and is claimed as the world’s first portable anti-virus. To me, it’s simply only a normal USB flash drive, which has anti-virus software pre-loaded in it. I’d expect the anti-virus software loaded in it needs no installation on any PC, and it should launch itself automcatically, when the drive is plugged to a PC’s USB port. Perhaps, its latest virus scanning pattern will also be downloaded automatically from the company website!

I thought you can easily make one yourself, using a write-protectable thumbdrive and AVG?

That’s what I think too, but they claimed it’s the world’s 1st portable AV. Lets see if there is more info abt it later
