Creative has just released its new MP3 player, the Zen Stone, which is claimed to be aiming at the iPod Shuffle. Similar to iPod, the Zen Stone does not have a display, so it can only play songs randomly. Since Zen Stone is here to compete with iPod Shuffle, the first thing it needs to get itself prepared for the competition is definitely to offer with a lower price. It retails for only $40.00 for a 1GB, which is half of the price of iPod Shuffle. But its battery life is slightly shorter than the Shuffle, which can last up to 10 hours, whereas the Shuffle’s battery life is about 12 hours. The player will be available in different colors such as black, red, pink, yellow, blue and white. The currently available at Creative store is the black one, which the rest will be made available by 14th May. Keep an eye on Creative Store for those pink or red, to grab one as Mother’s day gift, if your mum likes music.
