At the first glance, I thought this Energizer Duo USB charger was similar to those we’d seen before – is for charging your gadgets. But it’s not, it’s only a charger simply takes power either from your PC’s USB port or alternatively from an AC power outlet, for charging any rechargeable AA and AAA sized batteries.
It can charge a pair of AAA batteries in about two hours and it needs five hours for a pair of AA batteries. Additionally, since it’s able to take charge from your PC’s USB port, it’s definitely got something to do with making use of some features of the computer i.e it allows you download a little piece of software that will let you monitor in real time that how much charge has been transferred from your computer to the batteries.
This monitoring software only works for both Windows or Mac. I’m not too sure if it works for Linux or other platform or not, I think, it should, but only having no monitoring software supported. It’ll retail in the price of $14.00 without batteries, and available in three colors: red, green and blue.
This gadget is pretty convenient for frequently travelling geeks who always carries a laptop or UMPC, so you can make use of your laptop or UMPC to charge your batteries, which can then power up your shaver, have a nice shave even though you’re stuck in heavy traffic.

I like this charger. I can charge a single battery instead of having to charge them in pairs because my MP3 player just uses one battery.
