Sony had gone nuts at its party for its game release in Europe? It’s definitely given us quite a big shock, which its launching party was simply full of violence and sex – using freshly slaughtered goat and also topless girls to promote its violent video game.
In its party for the celebration for the launch of its PS2 game, the God of War II, the corpse of the decapitated goat was used as the main display. Furthermore, they also invited those guests to take turns to lay their hands inside the slaughtered goat’s stomach, to grab out those bloody internal organs, such as intestines and eat them. (Well, this is something procured elsewhere, which only resembles the goat’s intestines.)
There was also a little competition among the guests for who could eat the most offal. They also had topless girls, who were to simply spice up the atmosphere of the launch, by dipping grapes into guests’ mouths, also also a male model portraying Kratos, the game’s warrior hero
Sony seemed to be pretty proud of what they’ve done. Perhaps they’re thinking of this is kind of innovative and more genuine way to promote its video games, as the entire party was documented in their official Playstation magazine and it caused a need for reprints for another 80,000 copies due to the stunt.
