This is a pretty cute concept design of a USB flash drive. Initially, the USB flash drive is in the shape of the little cute Spongebob. Once it’s full of data, then it will change itself into a blowfish-like mutant creature. A blowfish-like creature should look pretty ugly, but if you don’t wanna have this ugly creature to be around your work desk, then you have to do some cleaning and management of those data on your USB flash drive.
We’re all getting big storage size USB flash drives nowadays, which makes us having the tendency to load the USB flash drive with lots of data, and even leaving those unwanted data to be there for months or years.
Having this shape-changing USB flash drive, is pretty useful to remind you that it’s full when it’s already in the shape of an ungly blowfish, then you know it’s time to do some clean-up. Furthermore, if you’re the one having several USB flash drives, there is no hassle to plug each of them into the PC’s USB port for checking which one is full, as it simply tells you by its shape. It’s currently a concept, hope to see that it’ll catch enough attention and will get a production run soon.

This one is creative! Unlike the existing one which does not have any indicators, this is really interesting. Things are getting cheaper and looks the same, that’s why companies are trying to be more creative and innovative.

I’m interested in how Spongebob will suddenly turn into a blowfish when it’s full-up. The concept is cute, but maybe inventors should invest their money in a flash drive’s memory, not transforming USB shells.
