Bill gates and Microsoft not welcome in China!
In China the demand for free or open source software is much more than Microsoft Windows products. I’ve heard for years that the Chinese have been using their own modified Linux kernel, the Red Flag instead of any paid OS. Obviously, Microsoft is not welcome in China. Our richest man in the world, Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft got crashed half way of his speech by an open source protestor, when he was giving a speech on Friday at Peking University in Beijing, China.

Bill gates crashed by open source protestor during his speech in China, Friday!
Gates was handing out prizes to the students after finishing speech on the topic of Innovation in China’s future. A Chinease man simply interrupted him rudely and drated across the stage and loudly shouted against Microsoft’s monopoly. The protestor also displayed a sign of “Free software, open source” as shown in the picture. Of course he was then quickly tackled by security and brought away for questioning.

I hope the protester is still around today.
I hope I don’t sound racist but I would have thought China would have a huge Microsoft piracy industry going on. Maybe that’s what Western governments want us to beleive.

Yeah piracy is the major issue in China and even in any other Asian countries.. But in China and India, Linux is widely used… I’ve heard those Indian boys never heard of Microsoft windows

In China, and the far east in particular, there a paradigm of “sharing”. This is a quintessential aspect of their culture and to them, sharing software is no different.
