Dell PC customers want XP back?

Dell users in UK want XP back to be preloaded on Dell’s PCs instead of Vista only. The survey collected by Dell’s feedback site with a huge demand for the return of PCs pre-loaded with XP. Dell is already phasing out XP on its machines and has annouced its Vista-only policy. Due to the customer pressure, Dell has to reverse the Vista-only policy, which they’ve already loaded nearly all Dell machines destined for home use with Vista. So Dell’s decision is to continue offering Windows XP on select Dimension and Inspiron systems until later this summer. The reason of the outcry could be the familiarity, stability of XP and also the wide support of peripherals and drivers, according to analysts.
