Rinspeed’s eXasis got a pretty cool car, which its body is insect-like and transparent. The car is constructed from aluminum and plastic, and most of the control panel is touch sensitive.
You’ll probably be thinking of why there is a need for a car’s body to be transparent. My first guess is that your passengers will get to enjoy so much fun of watching the mechanism of the pistons of the engines moving up and down. Furthermore, it’s also good for the driver, that you’d easily tell that what you had just run over was a dead pussy or a person.

the first thing that worries me about this car is the fact that you said the controls are largely touch sensitive and for those like myself afflicted with a deadly case of clumsiness it could cause insurance problems.
although a nice idea, for those of us who suffer from ocd, looking at a grubby engine whilst driving may cause problems.
