Cell phone will get Sun Java OS?

I’ve been fascinated by Java. I started programming was because of Java. I’ve been programming lots of apps which involve desktop to Enterprise Java apps. For the mobile one, I’m still a bit behind. In my mind, the development in the cellphone world, Java is far behind from others, such as Microsoft Windows Mobile, Palm devices, Symbian and Mac etc. But here is a little good news about it with Sun Microsystems’ future move. It’s trying to acquire the SavaJe Technologies, a company that makes Java-based embedded operating system for cellphones. Meaning that we’ll see Java as one the OS platform for cellphone in future.
