Everybody is thinking of the version 2.0. Such as those web 2.0, business 2.0 and any 2.0 is the powerful versioning number that will monetize for the makers. And there is no exception for Microsoft, they’ve got the Zune 2.0. Of course, other than the Zune 2.0, they also have a Flash Zune, a flash version. This sounds pretty much like the web technolgy, the web 2.0, which is also associated with a flash version. These two gadgets are the effort of Microsoft to offer a number of varieties, such as video capability, smaller form factor in order to compete with iPod.
Here are some leaked details of the two new Zune versions, which was gathered by a Zune Scene editor who happened to bump into a Zune maker who works at Microsoft:
•Zune 2.0 and the Flash Zune will be out this year.
•Zune 2.0 is like Gen 1 but thinner.
•Larger HDD, same doubleshot finish.
•Flash Zune is 3 by 1 1/4 by 1/4.
•Flash Zune is video capable
•Flash Zune’s Screen covers 75% of the front
•Flash Zune will have WiFi
•Flash Zune will have doubleshot
•Design phase is over, but some tweaks to hardware will occur.
•2.4 million next gen Zunes will be made before 2007′s holiday season, and that 2/3 of em are the Flash Zune players.

Newly added features are wireless syncing with your computer automatically when you’re in Wi-Fi range, as well as videos in the Zune Marketplace and new music, with some are DRM-free.
