When we talk about a wireles MP3 player, we’d have always thaught that it got a Bluetooth headset, which the player had the A2DP capability for streaming audio to it wirelessly. But Mubie has a different approach to achieve wireless for its MP3 player. The Mubie iRunner2 PMP-690 MP3 player, simply itself is an elastic headset and also an MP3 player in one, which the player and the headset are not separated.
As shown in the picture, that the young chick can simply twist and stretch it to put it on her to enjoy the music. To me the wireless word used here is purely a marketing gimmick. Other than MP3, it also supports WMA format. There is no word on pricing and availability.
