MojoPac takes your PC anywhere!
It’s pretty paintful having to always switch between PC desktop and software applications environment. Sometime, it will cause you a long pause or lose track of your work. Just like me, I’m using my home PC to work when I’m home, switch to office PC while in office and again switch to using laptop while traveling. All these computers are loaded with different application software and desktop preferences.

Although I’m a tech savvy, but I do find it very inconvenient and even will lose some productivity for having to always switch working on different PC software enviroment. To me, I definitely prefer to stick only to one single desktop setting and software application environment. Thanks to MojoPac, which is simply a great technology that allows you to use a USB 2.0 compliant storage device, such as your iPod or a little USB flash drive, to bring your desktop setting, data and software application to run on any PC.

You only install MojoPac on any USB 2.0 storage device, upload your applications and files, modify your user settings and environment preferences, and take it with you everywhere. And you just need to plug the MojoPac-loaded USB 2.0 device to any PC and then the PC will be loaded with the desktop preference, data and application software from the original PC.

I had this bad experience. When I was really busy and in tied schedule, rushing for deadlines with my office work, I always failed to complete my work at office. It’d always end up of having to bring work home to continue on my home PC. The pain was to have to work using the home PC that is loaded with different software applications, data and desktop environment. So, it’d really take some of my time to fix around and adapt to different applications environments.

With the MojoPac, I could just load all the necessary applications, settings and data into a MojoPac-loaded iPod or flash drive, which I can just bring home and plug into the home PC that will give me exactly the same software applications environment of my office PC.

To switch back to the original host environment is simply a mouse click on the MojoPac toolbar. I think it’s also best for travelling, if those hotels that you stay is equiped with computers. Which means you don’t even need to bring a laptop, which adds extra pounds on you. What you need is only to bring along your iPod or a USB 2.0 flash drive that is loaded with MojoPac and the software environment from your office PC and then use it on the hotel’s PC.

Up to here, you’d probably have some concern about the privacy and security. No worry, MojoPac will not leave any trace on the PC that you run it. Furthermore, it’s password protected and you can add on encryption software to further protect it. MojoPac can be downloaded for trial and purchased from MojoPac.com for only $49.99 for one license. The following 3 diagrams simply illustrate the 3 steps of using MojoPac.

MojoPac pulls all the applications, desktop preference, data and settings to your iPod!

  1. Microsoft and SanDisk team-up to replace U3, the technology sounds familiar- by Gadget, shop online blog of TechChee.com Says:

[...] So Microsoft and SanDisk are working on some kind of smart drives, which is to replace SanDisk’s U3 eventually. The kind of smart drive is considered the next generaion of USB flash drives or memory that expands on the current SanDisk’s U3 capability. It is both the technology of software and hardware that allows you to transfer and store your “personal computing environment” onto a flash drive that you can carry around and have it launched at any USB-supported PC/laptop to continue your work. The “personal computing environment” here refers to personal interfaces, personal Windows applications, including Web browsers, e-mail programs, multimedia apps and productivity tools. And the “personal computing environment” launched on another PC, which you plugged in the smart drive, will not leave behind any trace on that PC. This simply sounds familiar to me, which seems to work similarly with the Mojopac that we’ve seen a few months ago. On top of this, of course there is added security, i.e TrustedFlash, which is claimed to be able to protect user files with personal information from malware on public or shared computers. The team-up is Microsoft will take care of the software, whereas SanDisk is providing the hardware. [...]
