By taking a first glance, other than just a wall plug, you wouldn’t have thought there was additional functionality in it. It’s not only a wall plug, it’s a Wi-Fi repeater or booster, which has the NetEquality’s Meraki Mini WiFi booster PCB mounted in it. This kind of design simply gives you a quick and easy way for installation. Which you just plug it to any power outlet and there isn’t any need to exercise with your hammer for making holes on wall. Furthermore, it’s also designed with theft prevention in mind as it comes with screws for you to secure it on an electrical outlet.

The typical use will consist of one Meraki Mini for your DSL modem and a few Minis plugged into number of power outlets of your office or apartment, to be shared by number of PCs in groups for sharing Internet connection (Shown in picture). This mini wall plug router does not have an Ethernet plug connection. Its case measures 4-1/8″ tall (plus mounting tab on top) X 2-5/8″ deep X 2-1/8″ wide and includes an external RP-SMA antenna connector for boosting its signal.
