BenQ seems to have been slack in activities but their Taiwan one is still alive. A special pink edition of thier BenQ Siemens Q-fi EF71 is on the way for release. It’ll be sold in Taiwan only for limited 500 units.

BenQ Siemens Q-fi EF71 is the first one in BenQ’s music-focused series. It features a flat, ergonomically shaped keypad and a large 2.2 inch-internal display with 262k colors. It’s equiped with 2.0 megapixel camera with camcorder function, so you can capture both photos and videos. It’s also got special night mode, which results taking high-quality photos and videos at low-light conditions isn’t a problem at all. Other than this, it can server as your webcam if you don’t have one, just connect it to your PC via a USB cable.

I thought Benq has just closed up shop for Siemens phones? The company went bust and receivers had the assets for sale. It is strange that they are still selling phones.
