G.tect brain computer interface kit
Whenever I’m in rush posting at TechChee, I really wish that I could have the kind of computer or interface, which could read my thoughts to help me post. So I could just sit back and relax, take any posture that I like or perhaps lying in my bed and my blog post will be completed without wasting any single bit of energy from my fingers.

I think the dream of having that kind of thoughts intepreting computer interface wouldn’t be a dream soon. The Germany company, g.tect has got a good start. They’ve got an out of the box, the BCI system, which would eventually be a thought reader for you to control your computer. Currently, it’s still a bit far from the ideal. It can only play simple games and comes with a P300 spelling device which, with a little training, can read your thoughts and place single letters on a screen. It’s currently having quite a poor accuracy on thought reading. It takes as many as 20 “flashes” to correctly read the word you’re thinking. Well, it’d be much harder and more time-consuming than posting using your QWERTY. Furthermore, as seen in the picture, the kind of dangling wires, surely it won’t give you a relaxed posture. There are still lots of room for improvement to become the ideal one and I guess it shouldn’t be too far from now.
