Just about 10 minutes ago spotted at Digg. Apple has done it! The iTunes is now compatible with Windows Vista. My post last night was still claiming that iTunes 7.1 was still not ready for Vista, but just couple of hours later then Apple managed to get it done. It could be simply just a little patch on iTunes, which solved some of the bugs. I have no luck to access the original source of Digg, which is TechnoSpot.net for further find out. I guess the site is now getting too much hits that its wordpress having database connection problem. According to Foxnews, iTunes 7.1 still having some glitches for Vista compatibility.

iTunes is still v7.1 , it hasn’t been updated anymore than you previous post.
Quicktime 7.1.5 (iTunes is basically a front end to Quicktime) still has problems – apple even have a survey for Vista users on their QT page – it asks about different problems.
Itunes still has screen write problems for me and QT doesn’t show the option panel correctly either. (apple has a pop asking if the option panel works whenever you use qt options and this reports back to them)
cheers,
