Not far from now there would be no more lies that we could tell. As the scientists are working on some kind of machine that can read our mind. This machine can figure out what your intention is before any action taken. Sounds scary? I think that’s what we really need due to our society is getting more complex and criminal cases keep happening. This machine would be useful at courtrooms and interrogation chambers, as no more lies by the guilty ones.
The work is still in the initial stage. A successful implementation would make it a good use for everything from criminal interrogations to airline security checks. The fear is there would be possible abuse by by authorities, marketers or employers. Hey, your boss would be able to read your mind one day! So, do not blog during office hour and don’t ever think of quiting your day job in the office!
