I’m not too sure how precise is the weather forecast in Japan. The Japanese even made a rain sensor, the Asahi Rain Sensor, for them to know when it’s going to rain.
I personally think this sensor does nothing good, as it depends on the first few rain drops or more to determine that the rain is on the way! Unless you’re the one too lazy to look out of the window and just wanna have your eyes on the TV screen. Maybe in the gadgets and gaming era, housewives are also addicted to PS3/Wii/Xbox gaming. Once this sensor is in contact with the rain, it will then trigger the wireless alarm in your room. I hope that you’d still have enough time to save your laundry hanging out there! It’ll cost around $34.00.
