How to get your USB thumb drive to have infinite memory? Well, by having a female connector on one end and a male on the other end. If you have run out of space on one thumbdrive just connect it up with another to the other end. So you can chain up to expand the storage space!
Sounds great? Can I have one? Sorry, this is just a concept, is the great concept by designer Vicky Wei to create an expandable, portable storage! Hope manufacturers will respond and make it happen!

[...] Today we’re all surrounded by USB gadgets. The few USB ports on our PC or laptop are simply insufficient. The Taiwnese company, Ritek, has realized the high demand of these USB ports and they have produced some kind of 4GB USB key, which does not sacrifice any USB ports on your laptop or PC. As it provides another female USB port at one end, which you can treat it as another USB port for connecting to other USB gadgets. Unfortunately, there is no further information about if more and more of the USB keys connected together would form a bigger storage. As it simply reminds me the Yanko’s conceptual design, which we’ve seen few months back. Having several USB thumb drives connected together to have bigger storage size and also the possibly to reach infinity. No info on pricing and availability. via [AkihabaraNews] [...]

well it seems cool, but when you figure out that you can only connect up to 127 peripherals at low bandwith it looks like the word infinite comes to an end real quick, and in theory if you hook up 127 4 gb usb drives you max it out at= 508GB
at low bandwith because you will have a train of drives that loops around your room twice, and this is without adding the fact that a usb port shoots 6volts, and power may not even reach half of the train connection of usb’s, so this myth is busted
